We’re looking for good communicators who are passionate about supporting marriage and relationships and can help us to build links with local parishes and clergy, promoting services and volunteering opportunities within the local area. Enjoy the support of a small, friendly team whilst helping Marriage Care support healthy couple relationships in this dynamic role.
If you are enthusiastic about relationship support, posses good interpersonal and communication skills and are involved in the worshiping life of the Catholic Church community this could be just the role for you!
Most of our centers are virtual with centre members working from home, communicating via email and phone. Services are run in community premises and centre meetings are held in mutually convenient places. You would be working with your local centre team which will usually comprise of a team of counsellors and marriage preparation trainers, supported by a head of centre and a small admin team.
We are looking for someone who can commit 2-4 hours each week including some Sunday mornings for pulpit talks, attend quarterly centre meetings (usually in the evening) and the occasional regional/national conference. In return we can offer a friendly and committed local team making a real difference to relationships, support from the national support team and a rewarding role in a dynamic and exciting organisation.
