Volunteer as a Centre Chair
Would you enjoy leading a team of volunteers comprising professional counsellors supporting couples and individuals with their relationship difficulties, and skilled trainers in relationship skills and facilitators preparing couples for marriage? Are you interested in the challenge of developing a sustainable organisation, meeting the needs of the local community? Do you live in one of the five areas Colchester/ Ipswich, Nottingham/Leicester/Derby, Leeds, Wrexham, or Staffordshire?
Marriage Care is an inclusive national charity supporting marriage, relationships and family life through its volunteer-led services based in centres around the country. We are looking for experienced managers for five of our centres, to lead the teams of volunteers, build up the centres, expand and develop new services.
In return we can offer a friendly and committed local team making a real difference to couples lives, with support from the national office.
