Marriage Care's marriage preparation course
Our marriage preparation course Preparing Together takes the form of a one-day workshop for groups of up to 10 couples and is normally held on Saturdays at our local centres across England and Wales.
During the course you will become aware of how your relationship grows when you deal with important issues in a constructive and loving way.
You will be encouraged to talk about issues you may not even be aware you need to talk about, in a safe and supportive environment.
Here are just some of the topics covered in the course:
- the uniqueness of married love
- your expectations of your relationship
- the influence of your early years and family of origin
- the importance of talking and listening
- negotiation and problem solving skills
- cultivating a lifelong relationship
