Secretary of State For Work and Pensions affirms the work of Marriage Care

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, the Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP, wrote a message to Marriage Care for their annual conference  on the 7th and 8th November, affirming the work of members in strengthening marriage and family relationships. He said ‘I want to thank you all for the work you do every day across the country, in supporting couples to build and sustain strong and healthy relationships’

He finished by emphasising the importance of strong relationships and the family in tackling poverty and improving children’s life chances and affirmed the work of our 600 volunteers as being an important part of helping to achieve that goal.
