Volunteer as a treasurer

A properly functioning centre needs someone to look after the finances. The sums of money involved in running a centre are not huge but we need someone who is reliable and trustworthy to can bank the donations received, pay volunteers expenses and other costs as well as have an overview of the financial situation of the centre. If you have got some financial experience and want to use your skills to help others why not consider volunteering to be a treasurer?

Once you have completed an application form please send it to volunteer@marriagecare.org.uk.

All suitable applications will be sent on to the local centre team who will conduct initial interviews. If successful at centre-interview and upon receipt of suitable references you will be offered the role.

Accounting is a mystery for many people so using such skills to provide my colleagues with the timely and accurate financial information necessary to manage our centre was a “no brainer.””
