Volunteer as a secretary/administrator
Are you an organised person who would like to be part of a friendly local team providing vital relationship support services?
Marriage Care is a specialist in relationship support, providing marriage preparation and professional relationship counselling through 50 local center-teams. We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills, interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with the centre team and particularly the head of centre to provide administrative support, take minutes at meetings and book venues as necessary. This is a ‘virtual’ role with centre meetings, counselling and marriage preparation services being held in community premises. Hours are flexible; a rough guide is 2 – 4 hours per week on average, attendance to quarterly centre meetings and the occasional regional/national event. As the centre is virtual, the role would be home-based and so access to a computer, phone and the internet are essential.
Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
