Volunteer as a secretary/administrator

Are you an organised person who would like to be part of a friendly team providing vital local relationship services?

Marriage Care is a specialist in relationship support, providing marriage preparation and relationship counselling through 50 local center-teams. We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills to work closely with the centre personnel and particularly the head of centre to provide administrative support, take minutes at meetings and book venues as necessary. This is a ‘virtual’ role with meetings being held in community premises once a quarter. Hours are flexible; a rough guide is 3 – 4 hours per week on average. As much of the work will be conducted from home, access to a computer and the internet are essential to perform these duties.

We need someone with good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate the delivery of information between centre members. Familiarity of committee work and minute taking would be beneficial.

Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
