
Mr Charles Perryman
Mr Perryman is a retired engineer. He is a magistrate and was formerly chair of the South Yorkshire Police Authority. He is also a counsellor, supervisor and trainer for Marriage Care, based in the Sheffield centre. He took over as chair of the board from September 2011.
Mrs Jean Marsh
Ex-principal of St Mary’s College, Crosby, Jean is a counsellor, supervisor and trainer for Marriage Care, based in the Leeds & Middlesbrough centre. She is also a spiritual director, trained at the Jesuit Spirituality Centre in Dublin, and is vice-chair of the board of Marriage Care.

Mr Tony Cabourn-Smith
Tony is a retired senior partner of a major accounting firm. He is the treasurer of the Wimbledon centre, where he is also a counsellor and FOCCUS facilitator. Tony is chair of Marriage Care’s finance committee.
Mrs Sheila Wright
Sheila is a self-employed coach working in Essex. She is a counsellor, supervisor and trainer with Marriage Care based at the Colchester and Ipswich centre, and is chair of Marriage Care’s strategy committee.
Mr Nigel Dorning
Nigel is currently a full time Lloyds underwriter specializing in professional indemnity. He has been chair of Blackheath centre for four years and also a member of Marriage Care’s brand and marketing working party.
Rev Canon Michael Cooley
Fr Michael is parish priest of Our Lady of La Salette and St Joseph in Bermondsey, the Diocese of Southwark. He is Marriage Care president’s nominee and a theologian.
Dr Maeve Chappell
Maeve is a counsellor and marriage preparation provider in Marriage Care’s Reading centre. She is a communications specialist with experience in change management and employee communications.

Mrs Margaret Cox
Margaret has much experience of working in the charity sector and is currently the secretary of Marriage Care’s Croydon centre. She has experience of setting up and running charities, as well as working for a trust.
